The Singapore Flyer is located at Raffles Avenue, Marina Bay, within walking distance of numerous five star hotels, the Suntec Convention and Exhibition center as well as the Esplanade, with Theatres On The Bay and the Marina Bay integrated resort. The world-class visitor attraction is a firm favourite amongst locals and tourists, offering 28 air-conditioned and UV light protected capsules in which to enjoy a unique view of the surrounding city. The ride takes 30 minutes and is operational for 14 hours daily, from 08.30am until 10.30, with the last flight taking place at 10.00pm. You can see from Changi airport to Sentosa, and there are even parts of Malaysia and Indonesia visible. It’s 42 storeys high but, once inside, from someone that doesn’t like heights, it doesn’t feel too uncomfortable and well worth the experience.
